About This Project

Dinosaurs Are Awesome! is part of a major graduate project and contribution to a public outreach initiative developed by Swinburne University’s Digital Media Design Program. Students from Kasese Humanist Primary School in Uganda posed a range of science-based questions to the students at Swinburne University. The result was Science Island: a collaborative effort between Swinburne University and the scientific community, which aims to educate users through a variety of interactive games, animations and e-books.

Dinosaurs are Awesome! was written with the help of Priscilla Gaff, the Program Coordinator of Life Science at Melbourne Museum. The e-book was then chosen to be further developed into an animation and an interactive web game.
